Lamis has been a part of bellydance in South Florida for
many years, and it has been a very important part of her life!
As both a dancer and instructor, she wants to share the joy
she has found, by teaching and performing, with others.
In addition to numerous performances on her own and with
various Dance Troupes, she has attended many dance
seminars, workshops and festivals, and was awarded the
prestigious "Aphrodite" award for top dancer at the Oasis
Dance Camp.
Affectionately dubbed the “Queen of Veils”, Lamis has
appeared in numerous magazines and in the Miami Dade
County Cultural Affairs Council report on the state of the
arts.
“I am filled with joy because of so many fond memories and
all the wonderful people I have met because of this dance
form!!!"
